Over the past year, the number of students benefiting from EDISU Piemonte’s services has risen by 10%. This is a significant figure, as it demonstrates that the system is working and is able to meet an ever-increasing demand.
For the first time, we have exceeded the 21,000-scholarship-holder mark, a new record that surpasses those achieved in previous years. But the most significant figure is that, once again, we have managed to guarantee a grant to 100% of those eligible, thanks to funding from the Regione Piemonte and a final investment of resources from the PNRR.
In a region that is attractive even to those coming from outside the region, we are working on student accommodation by increasing the number of beds available and expanding into new areas. And so we will continue in the coming academic years to make university life in Piedmont increasingly accessible.
Today, EDISU Piemonte supports and guides over 44,000 students: a growing community to which we are increasingly committed, so that the right to education is truly a real possibility for everyone.
